NSF Ranks Colleges’ Research and Development Spend

IDEA BANK: The National Science Foundation has released its annual ranking of more than 800 higher-ed institutions based on research and development expenditures. Johns Hopkins tops the list again, but many other of the top 25 institutions moved up a spot, including the University of California, San Francisco, which spent $1,126,620 on R&D in 2015.
