Nov 4, 2016

MATH AND GAMES: Know some students in grades 4-6 who are “game” to prove their math chops? BoniO, a Taiwan-based edtech startup that aims to bring the thrills of e-sports to learning, is hosting its Brain Games math competition, which will run from Dec. 5-9. Students in teams of three will compete to answer math problems to build and defend their virtual territories on a board reminiscent of Settlers of Catan. Up for grabs: devices worth more than $25,000. Check this: the top three schools with the most participants will get 40 Chromebooks.
