Google Ventures Partner, Rich Miner, to Lead Stealth Education Project

MINING EDUCATION: Google Ventures’ general partner, Rich Miner (quite the name for a venture capitalist) is leaving his post to lead an education project for Google. There are few details and specifics about the move, first reported by Fortune; Miner himself claimed that “I don’t actually know exactly what we’re building yet.” Google Ventures’ education portfolio includes Andela, Clever, CreativeLive, Desmos, English Central and Udacity. Miner was a co-founder of Android Inc.
