NEW KEYS FOR MACMILLAN: Macmillan Learning has acquired WriterKEY, a tool that allows teachers to give written and verbal feedback on digital writing assignments. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Launched in 2013, WriterKEY is one of several “KEY” products developed by Keys2Engage, a Ridgefield, CT-based company that also builds tools to support tutoring, STEM exercises and surveys. Macmillan will be debuting WriterKEY for trial in spring 2016, with plans to sell in the fall. More details in the press release.
