LITTLE RHODY GROWS BY ONE: Rhode Island and its state government just got a new resident. Richard Culatta, former Director of Educational Technology for the U.S. Department of Education, has accepted a position as Chief Innovation Officer for the state of Rhode Island. While he was mum about his title back in December, he shared the specifics of this new role with Rhode Island Public Radio on January 13. Culatta reports that he's working with Governor Gina Raimondo at the Rhode Island State House on the state's education initiatives, and will spend "some time looking at the experiences that we create for citizens."
