Girl Scouts Debut Enhanced Digital Cookie Sales Platform and Summit Plans at CES 2016

Jan 12, 2016

21ST CENTURY GIRL: The Girl Scouts first exhibited their digital cookie ordering platform at CES 2015, and this year they returned with Digital Cookie 2.0 and a partnership with The Girls' Lounge on a girls' STEM summit, which took place January 6, 2016. The latest version of the cookie sales tool allows Scouts to customize their own websites, optimize them for mobile phones and track marketing campaigns and budgets. The goal behind the improved platform and the summit, said Girl Scouts CEO Anna Maria Chávez, is to break down obstacles between young girls and STEM studies and careers. CES participants shared their interactions with the Scouts using the hashtag #genSTEMgirls.
