Jigsaw Academy Raises $3M Series A Round to Expand Online Data Analytics Courses

JIGSAW ACADEMY has raised a $3 million Series A round from Manipal Global Education Service (MaGE). The Bengaluru, IND-based company offers courses in data science that 40,000 students in 100 countries have taken, according to a press release. MaGE offers similar courses in testing and education delivery. Jigsaw Academy, founded in 2011, plans to use the funds to bolster its reach and offerings. T.V. Mohandas Pai, MaGE Chairman and former Director at InfoSys, has also personally invested an undisclosed amount and will join the board of Jigsaw Academy as an advisor.
