Minecraft is Coming to a School Near You

Look out world, here comes MinecraftEdu! The education version of the game that boasts over 20 million downloads is quickly making its way into schools around the world.

But what exactly is MinecraftEdu? How are teachers using it? Is it really more than just a video game in class? This week on the podcast, we talk to teachers from around the country to hear their stories, and see if the game itself can live up to the hype.

Interested in learning more? Check out Glen's Mundo de Comercio project and Cindy's work and research. You can also find sample lessons for MinecraftEdu at the World Library. And to see the Coliseum itself, we present to you, the Wonderful World of Humanities.
