TAL Education Group Invests $30M in Phoenix E-Learning

TAL EDUCATION GROUP, a K12 after-school tutoring services provider in China, has invested $30 million in Phoenix E-Learning, which operates zxxk.com, an online educational platform serving the Chinese public school system. TAL would hold 32% equity in Phoenix upon completion of the investment, which is subject to government ruling.

Founded in 2003, Phoenix E-Learning is a an online education service network that serves mostly primary and middle schools. Phoenix claims in a press release that zxxk.com is used in more than 30,000 public schools and has 15 million registered users.
