​Vedantu Raises $5M for Online Tutoring in India

VEDANTU: $5 million to Bengaluru, India-based Vedantu in a round from Accel Partners and Tiger Global Management. Founded in 2014, Vedantu offers live online tutoring to over 1000 students across India in grades 6-12 for coursework and exam preparation. With the funding, Vedantu plans to expand to tablets and mobile devices, according to YourStory.
