Gowell Raises $1M to Grow Online Learning Programs in China

GOWELL: $1 million to GoWell, a Hong Kong-based developer of online language learning courses, in a seed round from Fresco Capital, with Nest Investments also participating. Founded in 2003, GoWell has licensed its Chinese and English language learning materials to education centers, governments and businesses. The funding will the company education centers in mainland China, reports Tech in Asia. Fresco Capital, a Hong Kong venture firm, has invested in a number of US edtech startups, including NoRedInk.
