According to a report from FutureSource Consulting measuring growth in the K-12 market during the fourth quarter of 2014, Chromebooks took 39% percent of US market share, compared to 26% for iPads. Overall trends are encouraging: the market for mobile computing devices in K-12 has risen by 18.3%, to 5.7 million shipped globally in the quarter.
