Online Course Provider StraighterLine Adds $5.4M

STRAIGHTER LINE: Baltimore-based company StraighterLine has added $5,373,219 to its most recent Series B round, according to a document filed with the SEC on December 19.  StraighterLine charges students a monthly or per-course fee to take online college courses; students can then transfer these classes to accredited institutions for college credit. The company last raised money in April 2012.
