​Fingerprint Acquires Cognitive Kid and Scribble Press

FINGERPRINT: San Francisco, CA-based Fingerprint acquired Hillsborough, CA-based Cognitive Kid and Santa Monica, CA-based Scribble Press for an undisclosed amount. Cognitive Kid is the creator of the Ansel and Clair children’s app series, and Scribble Press enables users to create and publish stories on an iPad. According to a press release, children have played more than 100 million minutes on games in the Fingerprint library; the acquisitions bring its total library to 800 app, games and e-books.
