Jan 26, 2015

PLURALSIGHT: Farmington, UT-based Pluralsight, which provides developer and IT training, acquired Orlando, FL-based Code School for $36 million. This is Pluralsight’s sixth acquisition in 18 months as it expands its reach in the online learning industry, and comes on the heels on a $135 million Series B round in August. The acquisitions, including Smarterer for $75 million in November, have enabled Pluralsight to offer almost 4,000 online courses, according to TechCrunch. With the acquisition of Code School, Pluralsight plans to expand into course offerings for less experienced developers.
