Oct 10, 2014

PRIMO: $750K to London, UK-based Primo in a seed round led by IBIS Capital, with MTS and Emerge Education also participating. Launched in November 2013, the startup offers a toy designed to teach children between the ages 3 to 7 the basics of programming logic and computational thinking without needing to know how to read. The funding comes following a successful Kickstarter campaign in which Primo raised 162% of its target. The toy starts at £170; more details here.
