DARE MIGHTY THINGS: History buffs, tune in--filmmaker Ken Burns (of The Civil War and Baseball acclaim) and PBS LearningMedia have teamed up to offer free educational content based on Burns’ documentary, “The Roosevelts: An Intimate History,” currently showing nightly on PBS and streaming on PBS.org. Take advantage of three free lesson plans, each with 19 video clips from the series, portraying the legendary president and moose-rider in President Theodore Roosevelt: Foreign Policy Statesman or Bully?, Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Evolution of the Presidency: Theodore Roosevelt to Franklin D. Roosevelt. Check out more helpful materials on U.S. presidencies from PBS LearningMedia here.
