Thai Startup, Taamkru Raises $620K to Help Young Children Learn

TAAMKRU: $620K to Thailand-based startup, Taamkru, in a seed round led by 500 Startups, with M&S Partners, IMJ Investment Partners, Ookbee (a Thai e-book store) and Red Dot Ventures also participating. (In Thai, the company's name means "ask the teacher.") Founded in 2013, Taamkru offers gamified educational exercises for kindergarten children and claims about 120,000 users.
