17 Million (and Counting) Students Took the 'Hour of Code'

CODE COUNT: Over 17 million (and counting) students participated in the Hour of Code, the initiative spearheaded by Code.org during Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 9-15) to advocate bringing more computer science education in schools and classrooms. According to this infographic, students across 170 countries (1 in 5 in the U.S.) took part and wrote over 500 million "lines" of code in the various exercises and tutorials available.
