Izzui Raises $1.4M to Help Facebook Users Publish, Sell Courses

IZZUI: R$3 million (approximately U.S. $1.4 million) to Brazilian startup, Izzui, in its first round of financing from Confrapar, which acquired a 30% stake in the company. Izzui offers a Facebook app that serves as a platform where users can create and sell courses on any topic. VentureBeat reports the company currently has over 210,000 users and 500 published courses and will be "building a presence in the United States."
