Class Messenger Raises $1M from Scholastic

CLASS MESSENGER: $1 million to Toronto, Canada-based Learn Anything Inc. from Scholastic Inc., reports TechVibes. The startup offers a free, private messaging service for teachers, parents and students called Class Messenger. (It's a big upgrade from its its previous name, "WDWDT?" or "What Did We Do Today?") As part of the deal, Class Messenger will be made available to current Scholastic teacher customers.
