Teach for America Gets $20M from Walton Family Foundation

MORE TEACHERS. TFA: America’s favorite (or controversial, depending on who you ask) teacher recruiter, Teach For America, will be receiving $20 million over the next two years, courtesy of the Walton Family Foundation. However, the generous gift does not come without question marks from Walton and TFA detractors. The LA Times outlines the details.
