CREATIVELIVE: $500K to creativeLIVE from Creative Artists Agency, William Morris Endeavor, CrunchFund, Google Ventures and others, reports PEHub. Along with the $7.5 million Series A it raised last year from Greylock Partners, the company's total funding stands at $8 million. Caterina Fake, founder of Flickr and Findery, and chairwoman of Etsy, joins the board as an independent director. Founded in 2010, creativeLIVE provides an online platform where users can take courses from a curated list of experts and professionals on a motley array of skills, from Modeling 101 to Hacking Your Education with Dale Stephens. The company has production studios in Seattle and San Francisco where much of the production and filming takes place.
