International Finance Corporation Invests $150M in Laureate Education

LAUREATE EDUCATION: $150 million to Baltimore-based Laureate Education from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). This marks the largest education investment to date from the IFC, a member of the World Bank Group focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries. Laureate Education currently runs a network of 65 post-secondary and career institutions on hundreds of campuses in 29 countries. More information in the press release.
