Everspring Raises $10M to Help Colleges Create Online Programs

EVERSPRING: $10 million to Evanston, IL-based Everspring in from Carrick Capital Partners LLC and Accretive LLC, reports Crain's Chicago Business. This boost its funding total to $16 million. The startup, launched in 2011, is currently working with four traditional universities, including University of Kansas and the College of William & Mary, to create online graduate programs. (It's similar to 2U in this regard.) Everspring's executive team hail from Kaplan Higher Education.
