ACATAR: Pittsburgh, PA-based Acatar was acquired by Louisville, KY-based Learning House for an undisclosed amount. Acatar, which spun off from Carnegie Mellon University in 2012, helps professors offer course resources online. The Learning House, founded in 2001, offers a variety of tools for universities, including faculty development and technical support. More from Inside Higher Ed.
