Tokyo Educational App Developer Scores $5M

SMART EDUCATION: $5.4 million (550 million yen) to Tokyo-based Smart Education from CyberAgent and Infinity Venture Partners, reports The Bridge. The company, which develops mobile apps for young children that focus on reading, art and music, is approaching seven million downloads. It last raised $3.5 million in 2013.
