Dec 23, 2013

RESTART: Back in October 2013, one overheated charger for Amplify's education tablet melted the plastic casing--and set alarm bells throughout Guilford County Schools. According to Politico "it was an embarrassing glitch" but "a lengthy investigation by an independent lab has found no safety issues with the chargers." Also:

Editor's note: An earlier version incorrectly attributed the quotes to Amplify's Senior VP of Communication.
