Engaging students in science with issues, projects, experiments, graphics and games has been my life for many years.
I now want to play it forward as an education leader - maybe a vice principal or by working with education start ups or initiatives.
Curriculum design is my strength, honed as an author of SEPUP’s Science and Life Issues at Lawrence Hall of Science. I'm now developing real-world projects that engage students and meet Next Generation Science Standards. Projects include "Plant 2 Trees", "The Take Action Project", "The Animal Voice-Over Project" and the "Grow Food at School" projects.

Children are naturally curious and interested in their world. As their lives unfold, they explore, learn and grow. This is an amazing, developmental life process. As adults, we have both the opportunity and the obligation to guide and support students in their learning so that they may realize their greatest potential.
My professional interests include STEM education, bilingual education, charter schools, school administration, school community service, educational policy, and educational publishing.
