Christopher A. Hoang, Ed.D, is an Assistant Principal for Alta Vista Innovation High School who works with at-promise youth between the ages of 14-24 in an alternative education model, Independent Study. He has worked in education since 2006 working with students between the ages of K-12 in a variety of settings: after school, tutoring, teaching, and most recently as an administrator. His passion is supporting youth to utilize their voices in creating a meaningful experience in their pursuit of knowledge. It is these students' voices that guide his why: to advocate for the equitable educational rights of all students.
