Sharon Lurye is a reporter based in New Orleans, LA. She has worked at the Burlington County Times, PhillyVoice.com and the Hechinger Report, and was selected as an education reporting fellow for the Teacher Project at Columbia University in 2018-19. Lurye also served for one year as a City Year AmeriCorps Member at Phillis Wheatley Community School in New Orleans. She attended the University of Chicago for undergrad and received her master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
