Brief Biography

Noah Sudow has worked for over a decade on the front lines of K-12 and postsecondary education, in positions spanning the non-profit, for-profit, and government sectors. He is also a trusted advisor to investors and entrepreneurs that need to understand where policy is headed, and how innovation can improve public sector outcomes.

Noah previously served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation at the Ohio Board of Regents, where his accomplishments include the renewal of the Ohio Third Frontier – the state’s two-billion-dollar initiative to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, the creation of the Ohio GI Promise, allowing public higher education institutions to hold equity in spin-off companies and the first ever statewide technology transfer agreement with Proctor & Gamble. Noah also led the research and organization of Ohio's 2008 Ten-year Strategic Plan for Higher Education and served as a Policy Assistant for Higher Education and Economic Development in the Ohio Governor's Office.

In addition to his role as a government regulator, he has served as a grant maker, serving as Director of the Battelle Memorial Institute’s STEM Innovation Lab. In this role, he led the organization’s strategy to develop and implement innovative education tools across Battelle’s STEMx state education network.

Noah most recently held the role of Director of Community Relations and Special Assistant to the President at Hillel International, where he led the non-profit’s external relations, served as a close counsel to President and CEO Eric Fingerhut, and was responsible for securing over ten million dollars in grants. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Economics.
