Farhat Ahmad is a 9th and 10th grade World, Multi, and American Literature teacher at McClarin Success Academy in College Park, Georgia.

Brief Biography

Farhat Ahmad was a sheriff’s deputy in Madison, Wisconsin and then moved to Atlanta in 2006 to pursue a career in education. He is currently a 9th and 10th grade World, Multi, and American Literature teacher at McClarin Success Academy in College Park, Georgia. In 2015 he won the Georgia Governor’s Award for Innovative Teaching, which includes a grant funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In the summer of 2017 he earned another grant from the Governor’s office for his work in individualized and blended learning. Mr. Ahmad holds a Bachelor’s in English and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s in Secondary Education from Georgia Southern University.
