Brief Biography

Chip Donohue, PhD, is the Founding Director of the Technology in Early Childhood (TEC) Center at Erikson Institute in Chicago and a Senior Fellow and Member of the Advisory Board of the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media at Saint Vincent College, where he and Roberta Schomburg co-chaired the working group that revised the 2012 NAEYC & Fred Rogers Center Joint Position Statement on Technology and Interactive Media as Tools in Early Childhood Programs Serving Children from Birth through Age 8.

In 2019, he edited his third book, “Exploring Key Issues in Early Childhood and Technology: Evolving Perspectives and Innovative Approaches” published by Routledge.
