Ava Cotlowitz is the visual arts teacher at P.S. 32 in Brooklyn, New York. She received her MA in Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Through her teaching pedagogy, Teaching for Artistic Behavior, Ava guides children through authentic art experiences that aim to develop the lifelong habits of “being an artist.”
