Absorb Software Acquires Its 3rd LMS Company of 2019

Absorb Software, a Calgary, Alberta-based learning management system (LMS) developer, has acquired ePath Learning, which offers LMS services in the corporate training market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1999, ePath Learning offers LMS tools that are used by business across a variety of industries, from retail to medical and healthcare training organizations. The company is based in New London, Conn.

This deal marks the third acquisition for Absorb in 2019, following its purchases of eLogic Learning and Torch, both in the LMS market. Absorb raised $59 million from private equity firm Silversmith Capital Partners in 2017. According to a prepared statement about the deal, Absorb claims to serve more than 1,100 customers and has 255 employees across eight international offices.
