Element451 Raises $1 Million to Help Colleges Recruit Students

Oct 15, 2019

Element451, a Raleigh, N.C.-based company with a platform for college admission leads, has raised a $1 million seed round from startup accelerator and early-stage venture firm Cofounders Capital.

Founded in 2017, Element451 plans to use the money to persuade more colleges to use its student recruitment technology, according to a statement Thursday.

The customer relationship management platform helps colleges manage online applications and conduct email marketing campaigns to recruit students. The platform also offers predictive analytics tools.

Existing education partners include Yeshiva University, New York University and Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.

Other companies focused on college admissions have attracted investor interest this year as well. Admissions guidance services provider CollegeVine raised $24 million earlier this year while Singapore-based Cialfo raised $3 million.
