Jul 18, 2019

WhiteHat, a London-based apprentice training, networking and matching platform, has raised $16 million in a Series A round led by Index Venture Partners. Lightspeed Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures participated.

Founded in 2016, WhiteHat will use the money toward expansion in the U.K. and adding more employers to its programs. WhiteHat matches apprentices and employers and offers coaching sessions. Its available apprenticeships include work in digital marketing, accounting and management.

The company claims that it has over 750 apprentices, with over 1,000 people applying to join its apprenticeship programs every week. It claims to service 250 employers, including BP, Facebook and Salesforce.
