Jan 28, 2019

MAKING THE MOST OF IT: Mosyle, an Orlando, Fla.-based provider of Apple device management tools popular among educational institutions, has raised $16 million in a Series A round led by Peak Ventures and Elephant.

Founded in 2016, Mosyle allows IT administrators to manage accounts and updates across different Apple devices, and sync account information across Apple IDs and student information systems, among other features. Launched in 2016, these tools are used by more than 1.5 million students and teachers across 8,500 schools in the U.S. and over 70 other countries, claims the company’s press release.

The company previously raised $2.2 million in seed funding in 2017, and will use this latest cash infusion to expand into the enterprise market. More details in VentureBeat.
