Aug 10, 2016

NEWS TEAM, ASSEMBLE! “Education-to-employment” company General Assembly has taught more than 350,000 students at its 15 campuses. The education provider—known for its flagship web development bootcamp—will expand to 10 more cities in the U.S., Canada and Australia by the end of the year. Now students in cities including Arlington, VA; Brisbane, Queensland; and Orange County, CA will have access to the company’s range of tech- and career-focused courses.

GA also announced its acquisition of Toronto-based tech and design career accelerator Bitmaker. Bitmaker will keep its brand and current leadership and operate as a subsidiary of GA.
