Everwise Raises $8M Series A Round to Expand Online Corporate Mentor Matching

Dec 8, 2015

EVERWISE has disclosed a previously unannounced $8 million Series A round from Canvas Ventures, Sequoia Capital and Webb Investment Network. The New York-based company makes an online mentor matching program that connects people with executives who have volunteered for coaching. Users connect their LinkedIn profiles to the program and fill out a survey that points them to an executive with the expertise they're looking for. Everwise is using the funding to create a content curation system that supplements mentoring, a goal-setting system, personality assessments and an experience manager program with a human coach.

The company raised the round in December of last year. It plans to use the funding to launch in Australia in January 2016, already doing business in Asia and Western Europe. The company claims that 100 companies are providing the service to their employees at $150 per employee per month, though Everwise is not profitable, reports TechCrunch.
