Video: A Scratch overview


Scratch is the computer language learning environment created at the MIT Media Lab to assist younger students understand and create simple applications. In doing so, students develop design and problem-solving skills, creative thinking, systems thinking, and collaboration. Projects typically include interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art that can be shared on the web. As of December 2011 Scratch boasted 950,000 registered members and over two million projects.
