Reconfigurable Classroom
Reconfigurable Classroom
A classroom with desks, chairs, and boards on rolling wheels, allowing the layout to be reconfigured to facilitate different forms of collaboration.

As 'design thinking' has grown in prominence throughout many different fields, the concept of reconfigurable spaces has made its way into education. Reconfigurable spaces allow groups of people to quickly adjust the physical layout of a room as needed for various collaborative projects. A notable example of the reconfigurable classroom is in Wallenberg Hall, a part of Stanford's School of Education.
