The WeCollabrify Suite of Apps promote synchronous collaboration for students through a concept mapping app, a drawing and animation app and a writing app. The apps are available for free on the web or by downloading them for any device on the Apple App Store or Google Play. As of February 2015, around 500 students in over five schools from all around the world have used the apps.
The WeCollabrify suite currently consists of three apps that are all focused on synchronous collaboration:
- WeMAP enables students to create concept maps. One student creates a session and another joins, enabling them both to update the same map in real-time.
- WeSKETCH enables students to create drawings and animations. Students can work together on the same frame to create a series of still images. They then order the images and play through the slideshow, creating an animated video.
- WeKWL enables students to reflect on what they know, what they wonder about and what they learned. Students can collaboratively add their own notes to the same topic to create a running list of their individual and mutual reflections.
In addition to the suite of apps, they offer their Collabrify SDK to help third-party developers incorporate synchronous collaboration into their mobile and web apps.
The WeCollabrify apps are available through a browser or can be downloaded on the Apple App Store or Google Play for the iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones and tablets.
All of the WeCollabrify apps are free to download.
