TES Connect is a database that allows teachers to search for jobs, find and share resources, and create groups to chat and share ideas. It is free for all users.
Teachers begin using TES Connect by registering for free and logging in to their account. Once logged in, they can search for jobs, lesson plans and resources, or community topics. Teachers search for jobs from the jobs dashboard by using location filters. Once they have selected a job position, they apply for the job directly through TES Connect and track their pending applications through their profile.
Teachers search for lesson plans and resources by filtering their resources dashboard for key words, target age ranges, and content topics. Once teachers have found a series of resources on the topic they are interested in, they sort those resources by subtopics, types of resources, formats, and recommendation status. Users then save resources to their profile for later.
To engage with other teachers regarding relative educational topics such as “health and wellbeing” or “creative curriculum,” Teachers visit the community dashboard. Topics are organized around specific groups or forums. Each group contains followers, a blog, and a discussion forum. Teachers can create groups on their own topics, and elect to make them public or private based on content.

As of 2014, over 2 million teachers in over 200 countries are using TES Connect.
