by Classroom Networks Corporation
Teacher’s Wall, operated by Classroom Networks Corporation, is a virtual classroom that uses Cloud-based curriculum as an instructional base. For a one time purchase, educators can create their Teacher’s Wall, a virtual classroom space for in and out of classroom use. It can be accessed through an IP address, or, the teacher can display the wall in class on a TV screen or projector.
Educators create their own wall, or virtual classroom, using 3D technology. Each wall is given its own IP address, which makes it accessible from any mobile device or web browser.
Teachers can use pre-made templates, or personally modify the design of their wall. Once a virtual classroom is made, a teacher can use their Teacher’s Wall inside their classroom, or can give the IP address to students, which allows them access to the classroom from any web browser or mobile device.
For in classroom use, the basic interactive platform includes a plug and play control unit, an audio unit with speakers, and a micro-console allowing teachers to mirror their iPad, iPhone, or Android device to a 75” HDTV. Teacher’s need access to high-speed internet for classroom function.
Teachers have access to all curriculum within the Teacher’s Wall cloud base, which they can incorporate into their own teaching.
Teacher’s Wall can be purchased by a school leader, at both the K-12 and postsecondary levels. A one time purchase is $7,500. This purchase allows educators associated with the license to create their virtual classroom. This includes the capability to make a virtual classroom, speakers, and an LED monitor to connect a mobile device to an HDTV screen. Professional development training on how to use Teacher’s Wall is an additional $775.00.
