Synchrious was initially introduced for use in corporate settings (Nestle and CenturyLink were some of its early customers), but the company is refining it for use in schools and classrooms.
Synchrious enables users to upload presentation slides and narrate them so that the slides and audio are synchronized together. This enables educators in particular to create highly interactive, online lessons and tutorials to share with others, which are called "Syncs." They can create polls at specific moments in the Sync to assess student viewership and understanding.
Teachers can also let students to create their own Syncs to demonstrate their understanding and knowledge about certain topics. This helps students enhance their presentation and public speaking skills.
