StraighterLine offers pre-made, course complete courseware with online program management elements such as tutoring, advising, proctoring, anti-plagiarism, success coaching and credit transfer for general education courses. Most of StraighterLine’s students enroll in its courses directly through the company and later transfer credit to participating institutions, but colleges can also can use StraighterLine offerings as turnkey courses. StraighterLine courses are competency-based, drawing on text, images and videos for instruction, along with self-check and assessment elements. Colleges can use StraighterLine to offer fully online courses, and all courses are recommended for credit transfer by the American Council on Education (ACE) CREDIT system.
