Students begin using SpellNow by logging in to their account. Once logged in, they chose from one of six spelling game formats: Word Jumble, Word Match, Word Catch, Word Build, Word Hide, or Word Spell. Each game follows a series of spelling lists organized by sound patterns and word family groupings. Students follow directions to answer interactive questions according to the chosen game format. As students answer questions correctly, they advance through the game and more challenging vocabulary lists.
From the analytics dashboard, teachers view reporting graphics of student performance on tasks and progress through spelling word lists.
