RyeCatcher is a browser-based tool designed to support students by connecting all students, especially those with special needs, with local service providers, resources, information, and organizations. RyeCatcher’s services include analysis of needs, provider listings, and a tracking system. RyeCatcher requires a license to use.
APPROACH
RyeCatcher helps instructors and parents identify and assess students’ academic, social, and emotional needs and create a circle of support from over 30 school and out-of-school roles. Instructors and parents can then browse RyeCatcher’s extensive list of service providers and professionals by categories relating to specific student needs. Users can also write notes on students, compare attendance with academic progress, and create schedules for student meetings. In addition, RyeCatcher offers a monitoring program to develop RtI action plans with visual charts and sharing among other instructors.
